OUR PASTOR

 

Our pastor is Pastor Clark Vincent. 

 

 

 

Rev. Vincent was raised as a Presbyterian in St. Louis, Missouri. He graduated from Lindbergh High School in St. Louis, attended Junior College, Bible College and eventually graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business. While at UMKC, he participated in campus ministry through a local church. After a

few years in business, he felt called to enter the ministry. He graduated from the University of Dubuque Theological Seminary and was ordained as a Minister of Word and Sacrament in the Presbyterian Church USA in July of 1985.

 

Rev. Vincent has served as a Stephen Ministry Leader, a volunteer chaplain, a police chaplain and a Chaplain Resident at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem. He has completed Level 1 and Level 2 Clinical Pastoral Education training. Additionally, he has served on the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors of an organization to address and prevent domestic violence. Rev. Vincent has also served as a member of the board of Crisis Control; an organization dedicated to helping the hungry and

needy and those in crisis. Presently, he serves on the board of Kenly Area Ministry in Kenly, North Carolina. In his 30 years of ordained ministry, Rev. Vincent has served churches in Missouri, Iowa, Indiana and North Carolina.

In May of 2014, he and his wife, Jan moved from Kernersville, North Carolina to Raleigh to be closer to his wife’s daughter who lives in the Capital City.

 

In August of 2014, Rev. Vincent was installed as pastor of Center Ridge Presbyterian Church and Oak Grove Presbyterian Church in

Middlesex and Kenly, North Carolina.

 

Clark enjoys music, being outside, doing lawn work, bicycling and occasionally quilting. He and his wife, Jan enjoy their grand dog Buddy and cherish being so close to family.

OUR CHURCH

 

Center Ridge is located at 2712 Glendale Road, Kenly, N. C. We meet for Sunday School at 10:00 and for Worship at 11:00. We are a small, friendly congregation involved in many local ministries. Our doors are open to anyone looking a church home. Come and join us!
